About Us

We are Angela Roberts and Christine Rowland offering childminding services at our home address Poulner,Ringwood. Both of us registered as childminders in July 2011, we have enhanced CRB checks, non smokers and NCMA insured.
We have three children, a twenty three year old (who doesn’t live at home), a thirteen year old and an nine year old. We have two friendly guinea pigs and one lovely rabbit. We have a secure garden with a playhouse, sandpit, trampoline and other outside toys. We offer lots of activities/opportunities that encourage children to be creative and provide a wide range of craft resources. Some of our craft activities, materials and ideas come from our walks in the forest, trips to the beach and country parks. We also offer visits to local play parks, library, toddler groups and many more fun activities.

While living in london I organised and facilitated holiday play schemes and also worked as a teaching assistant in a high school. Before having children  I worked for many years in residential setting with adults with additional needs. I have always

experience on a daily basis was a very important part of my job. Also qualified assistant swimming teacher, for many years taught swimming to seven to nine year olds and also assisted at the local swimming club that one of my daughters attended. I have also worked as a deputy manager at a hotel and hold a management qualification.

encouraged my own children and their friends to explore their creative side by providing lots of oppurtunities to have fun with craft matrials.

I have worked both in pre-school and as a teaching assistant in a village first school for over 13 years, a lot of time spent working in reception and year 1 class. While working at the school I learnt how important it is for children to learn through play and while having fun. Facilitating this learning
